We’re excited to share more updates as we continue refining your Project Pages and making it easier than ever to manage estimates and collecting payments.
RoofSnap Logo Update
- Power by EverPro: we are updating our logos to “by EverPro”. You’ll notice the new branding throughout the platform, showcasing our partnership with https://www.everprosolutions.com/.
Implement Stripe Registration (Coming Soon)
- Onboarding Made Easy: Stripe provides a user-friendly sign-up flow to get you started collecting payments online. We’ve integrated Stripe’s code example directly into the “Start Now” button on the Payments CTA, making it faster to set up your Stripe account.
Collect Payment Card (Coming Soon)
- Streamlined Payment Collection: A new “Collect Payment” Card now appears on the Project Screen for roofing contractors with fully verified Stripe accounts. Use it to quickly take payments on the spot or request payment from clients.
- Visibility Rules: If your Stripe Connect account isn’t fully verified, you’ll instead see our “Stripe Registration Card” prompt, giving you the steps to complete your setup and unlock payment collection.
Payment Requests Endpoint (Coming Soon)
- New UI for Requests: We’re introducing an endpoint to load and display any payment requests you’ve made to homeowners. A placeholder button appears for now—full backend payment logic is coming soon.
- Consistent Branding: The interface is styled to match RoofSnap’s modern look and feel, so it integrates seamlessly into your Project Pages.
Better non-subscriber experience
- Smoother Access: We’ve removed the outdated “Expired Page” flow for PayGo users who no longer have an active subscription. This ensures a cleaner experience without unnecessary roadblocks.
Enhancements and bug fixes
Authentication Error on “View Sample”
- Fixed Redirect: Clicking “View Sample” on an estimate card no longer takes you to an “Authentication Failed” page. Now you’ll see the correct estimate sample preview—no hiccups.
Project Details >> Measurement Section Showing “0”
- Removed False Data: The “Measurement” section no longer displays a zero if no measurements are available. This eliminates confusion and keeps your project details accurate at a glance.
Estimate Card Improvements
- Titles First: We heard your feedback! Now, Estimate Cards display the Estimate Name entered by you.
- Fallback Material Display: If no custom name is provided, the card will automatically show the selected Shingle Material (or metal/gutter material), ensuring you always know which estimate you’re viewing.
