How To Access

Computer or Android Mobile Device
- Log into your account at app.roofsnap.com on your preferred web browser.
- Click the green + Add New button on the bottom right corner of your home projects screen.
- Select the Measurement Order icon.
iPhone or iPad App
Click the yellow Order SketchOS box to open the new order flow. This will redirect to your web browser to continue the ordering process.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Enter the property address in the Search bar at the top of the maps screen.

Verify the location. We will locate the property by adding a red pin. If needed, click and drag the pin to ensure that the correct structure is marked.
- If ordering multiple reports for an apartment complex or commercial property, tap on each roof to drop a separate pin and order additional reports. Double tap to remove a pin.

Select your building type:

Single-Family is for any residential home or property.

Check the include outbuildings box if you need to include other structures on the parcel. Provide notes if necessary, such as "include home and pole barn, omit shed".

Multi-Family & Commercial are for duplexes, townhomes, apartment complexes, and commercial structures.

Select Whole Building if you'd like us to draw the entire property.

Select Partial Structure if you only need some areas, such as flat roofing or pitched areas only, or one address within a duplex or row home. Provide notes to ensure that our sketch technicians are aware of your specifications.

Select your report type:
- Basic Half Snap - includes overall surface area measurements with a predominant pitch, ideal for per-square estimating.
- Detailed Full Snap - includes detailed measurements for linear feet and surface areas, noting low slope and second story areas, ideal for detailed estimates.
- Metal Roof Report - includes detailed area and linear measurements, as well as a cut panel diagram and panel count.
- Gutter Report - includes linear feet measurements for eaves, gutters and gutter toppers, as well as total measurements for each eave run. We also note material quantities and suggested placements for end caps, miters and downspouts.
- Add On Gutter Report - you can include a Gutter Report with any Full Snap or Metal Roof Report by selecting the add on gutter report checkbox within your selection.
- Give your Project a Title. Such as the property address, name of the homeowner, or an internal code you use for tracking jobs or insurance claims.
- Select User. The report order will auto-assign to your user seat, but you can assign it to another user who has access to the account. Projects can be given, shared or cloned to another user later if needed.
- Select Office. This organizes your reports and projects based on your office settings, branding your reports with your logo and company address. You can change the office later should you need to pull in different materials/ pricing, document settings, or contract terms and agreements.

Review your order summary and select a Delivery time.
- Standard Delivery = 2 to 4 hours
- Rush Delivery = guarantees within 1 hour + $25
- Order time frames are within normal business hours. Monday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm Eastern. Holidays may impact these hours.
- Click checkout, select or add your payment and click Submit Order.
You’ll receive an email with a link to your pdf report when your order is completed. You can also access your project on the main screen of the Web App or within your project list on our iOS and Android mobile devices.
Include Material Linear Measurements
By default, we do not include material linear feet measurements, given different states and provinces have varying code requirements. However you can include these measurements two different ways:
- The DIY Method. You can add material items yourself by opening the sketch scene after receiving your report and applying the sub-material labels you need. Then generate a new sketch report with a summary of quantities and identifying labels.
- Submit a Request. You can contact our team by phone (877) 766-3762 or email success@roofsnap.com, requesting specific material labels always be included in your measurement report orders.
All of our reports integrate with our complex estimating platform and document suite, allowing for immediate single or comparison quotes based on your materials and pricing. This feature is available to subscribers at no additional cost.
