RoofSnap is available on multiple device platforms, allowing you to access and update all of your projects on the go! Here is a quick overview of navigation within the iOS iPad app.
The RoofSnap mobile app is available to download on the Apple App Store.
While the overall functionality of RoofSnap is the same on both the iPhone and iPad, there are some minor differences in the navigation interface. An iPad should be rotated to landscape mode (long side parallel to the ground) in order to navigate using the menu on the left side. An iPhone allows you to navigate by scrolling through tiles in either portrait or landscape mode.
General Settings & Information
Before diving in to each tile and option in the links below, it's important to note the (i) button in the lower right corner of the menu tab. This is where all of your app information lives including your company and user details and App and iOS version numbers. (To avoid any glitches with the app, make sure it is up to date and running the most recent release.)
Primary Settings:
- Resync All Data - if you are missing projects or other project data, resyncing refreshes the app to pull in any projects created on other platforms.
- Manage Templates - modify or delete saved estimate templates.
- Show Waste Calculator - auto apply a 10% waste to all projects and turn off suggested waste calculation. Learn more about waste calculation.
- Default Starter: Eaves Only - in estimates, apply starter shingles to eave measurements only, instead of combining eave and rake measurements.
