Summary: You can now use your materials manager's expanded visibility settings to control which materials and services are displayed on your labor report.
Before this week, if you added an item to your estimate, but the item’s cost was “zero,” it would not display on your labor report. (The document was designed to be a cost report so you can keep track of the labor your jobs require and the costs incurred.) However, the labor report can also be used as a quick and easy scope of work to give to your crew.
If some of your materials and services are included in every job but don’t involve a fee, they can now be configured to display on your labor report document.
If you don’t want to display zero-cost items on your labor report, you don’t need to make any changes to your existing materials and services.
To set up your items to always display on the labor report, you’ll need to toggle the visibility settings for that item in your material manager. You can access your materials in your account at RoofSnap.com.
To configure the item to always show on your labor reports, regardless of cost, click the toggle next to “Show on Labor Report” so that the switch appears blue.
Now, when you add that item to your estimate option, it will display on the labor report, even with no cost associated with it. For more information on setting up your materials schedule some training with our support team.
